ahem's urban legends

All cultures invent mythology. You’ve probably heard of legendary characters like Merlin the Magician, Anansi the Spider, or Medusa, and you’re likely familiar with mythological creatures like Leprechauns, the Yeti, and the Chupacabra. More than just good stories, myths explain what we don’t understand, pass values to the next generation, and provide structure for daily activities.

You might be surprised to learn, however, that mythology isn’t only a thing of the past. Today’s cultures are just as reliant on myths as they’ve ever been. That means, if we’re serious about one planet living, we’ll have to confront, and in some cases set aside, myths we’ve held close to the heart and implement lifestyle changes to fix them.

Enter AHEM’s Urban Legends.

On each webisode, we’re exploring how deeply embedded myths are in modern cultures, how little we tend to question their validity, and just how outlandish some of these myths are.

Join us as we interrupt some urban legends.

WEBISODES COMING SOON:

AHEM recently wrapped production on its Urban Legends video series. We were lucky enough to work with an Emmy Award winning production studio, and we can't wait to share them with you. We just need to sort out a few things first, but don't worry, these webisodes are worth the wait.

Stay tuned.
